As of next term we are moving Daniel to the bigger class of his school which is on a wine farm in Durbanville and I have always loved this idea of him being so close to nature.
BUT a friend was telling me this week that they were spraying pesticides on the farm this week DURING school hours. I have a big problem with that!
Thoughts?
Maybe just contact the school and find out what the story is. Are the pesticides harmful to kids, etc? I’m sure they will be helpful.
I forgot to add that the school is testing it at the moment, but what gets me is that you want to make good decisions for your kids and then this kind of things happens.
rather be safe than sorry, phone them and find out exactly what is the story, I would be so upset.
One hopes they are Green pesticides – my dad has a cocktail of a chilli & garlic infusion mixed with sunlight soap that he uses on his – It works so well.
Sprayed chemical insecticides are not good for little systems but the others are right – find out all the facts from the school.
