I am now also the lucky winner of the bug everyone in the house has had, so I am feeling a little under the weather.
It also doesn’t help that I woke up yesterday morning with terrible pains around my navel due to a small hernia I have because of carrying the girls to 38 weeks and having them weigh 3.5 kgs each. (On top of this they were born in March, so I retained A LOT of water due to the heat)
I think all the carting around of children, table, cakes and furniture, coupled with eating a lot of crap has just done my stomach in!
I now have to have it looked at asap and the GP has referred me to someone. Not looking forward to it!
Oh no! Hope you’re feeling better soon! And also hope the doctor visit turns out okay!
Hope you feel better soon and good luck with the referral to Dr(shout if you need heads up on whos good at Durbanville, used to work with them all)
Hope u feel better soon – rest might be just what you need!
Was told Louis Leipoldt better?
Dr Stofberg at Louis Leipoldt is great and also very sweeet and gorgeous
WOW, I also carried the twins to 38 weeks, BUT Tristan was 2kgs and Zaan 1.6kgs. I can’t even imagine how you must have felt.
Good luck with the doc.
Shame hope you feel better!! Good luck had my turn with the flue week and a half ago, and still got the sniffels, but feelings 100%
Hey Tania, had a hernia repair when Jess was three, didn’t know I had one had to have an emergency gall bladder removal.
Surgeon found hernia and repaired it on the way out.
It really wasn’t too bad at all, uncomfortable rather than painful. (I have a very high pain threshold, wanted to go home when I woke up after theatre!) You just have to be careful and do exactly as you are told by surgeon. Good Luck, let us know when you are going in. xx
Thanks! I also have a high pain threshold (giggled my way through a brolen ankle), so this is new to me. Will keep everyone updated, only seeing the doc next week.
That’s good, there are some weird bugs around this year, don’t you think?
